We first learned how to make and read a tally chart. The children learned that when they make a small line it is called a 'hash' and when they make the fifth line it is called a 'slash'.
Then we learned about pictographs. Pictographs use pictures to show data. Sometimes the picture can equal more than one and it is important to read the graph before answering questions.
On Friday, we had fun and made Skittles pictographs!
