On Friday, students worked in groups to design and build a habitat for our pet hamsters. They used different types of blocks and books. Luckily, Lily has several toy hamsters that we were able to borrow to try out in the habitats. Fun was had by all!

All About: Hamsters and Habitats
This week in science, we discussed the difference between wild and domestic animals. We then focused on the domestic animal: the hamster. We learned all about the hamster and students even wrote persuasive letters to me asking for a hamster as a classroom pet (all pretend!).
On Friday, students worked in groups to design and build a habitat for our pet hamsters. They used different types of blocks and books. Luckily, Lily has several toy hamsters that we were able to borrow to try out in the habitats. Fun was had by all!
