Week 6: Elephant Toothpaste

This week in science, we became scientists!  The students learned that scientists look closely and investigate.  They also learned the steps to the scientific method: 

1.  Ask a question
2.  Form a hypothesis
3. Test the experiment and observe
4.  Draw a conclusion

Our experiment was Elephant Toothpaste.  We combined hydrogen peroxide, dish soap, and yeast. 

 

The kids loved watching the 'toothpaste' rise out of the bottle!
