We decided to try an experiment to see how long it would take to freeze juice in pumpkin-shaped ice cube trays. We used the scientific method to help us think of the process of turning a liquid into a solid.
Mrs. Cady put popsicle sticks in them when they were getting slushy.
It took 2 hours for our pumpkin popsicles to freeze! The students wrote down this information in their science journals.
The frozen juice took the shape of the pumpkin.
We enjoyed eating our experiment!
We even saw what happened once the frozen pumpkins were exposed to heat. They turned back into a liquid!
