All About: Miss Keith and Contractions

This week, we were able to meet our new student teacher, Miss Keith!  She is an Edinboro student who is super excited to become a teacher!  Her favorite color is green, she loves elephants, and she loves to read!!

We loved having her in our classroom room this week, and look forward to having her learn to be a teacher in our room for the next seven weeks!


We also learned about contractions!  It was fun making them with band-aids as the apostrophes!

All About: Shapes

We wrapped up our Geometry Unit in math.  During the last two weeks, we learned all about 2D and 3D shapes.  Here are some pictures of the fun activities we did during math class!

All About: The Earth, Moon, and Sun

We have been learning about our Solar System in Science.  This week, we learned why we have day and night.  We also learned that the Earth orbits the sun and it takes 365 days to make it fully around and our moon orbits the Earth. 

We created a model to show how we orbit the sun and the orbits the Earth. 

All About: Holiday Cheer

I sure hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful holiday break.  We have received our fair share of snow, and I think we are supposed to get even more! 

Our time off is going way too fast, and pretty soon it will be time to go back to school.  It already seems like the Christmas season is far behind us and it is almost time to getting back to business. 

Let's try to slow it down and continue enjoying our time with our family and friends.
