Week 33: Lovin' the Sun!

We had to take advantage of one of the only nice days we had this week at school!  We took our books outside and enjoyed buddy reading in the sunshine! 

 

Summer is almost here!!

Week 32: May the Fourth Be With You...

This week, we celebrated a very important holiday, Star Wars Day!  

On May the 4th we collected data on our favorite Star Wars Droids and made a pictograph!  It was fun lots of...as Yoda would say.

Week 31: 1-A's Toy Store

During the month of April, we have been learning about Money in math! 

Our final activity was to have a classroom store!  

It was so much fun!  
The children brought in a toy or stuffed animal, we priced each item, and then the children went around "shopping" for toys while counting out the correct amount of money!
