Egg-Cellent Easter Vacation

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!  The Cady family enjoyed all of our time with family and friends. 
Before we left for break, my students were busy working on some egg-cellent Easter activities.  One activity was where the students had to design and Easter egg and then describe it in writing.  This was a great review of adjectives!

 

I look forward to seeing all of my students back at school tomorrow!

You've Got Mail!

To end our letter writing unit in Writer's Workshop, all of my students chose one of their letters, revised it, edited it, and rewrote it.  Then they learned how to address an envelope.  They will be receiving their published letter in the mail in a couple of days!  Thanks for all of the stamps!
